Robert “Bob” L. Bailey, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ graduated Sum Cum Laude from Old Dominion University in 1983 with a BS in Business Administration. He earned his CFP designation over three decades ago and has served on the boards of various Peninsula civic organizations including the CNU chapter of the Rotary Club.
Bob excelled in baseball and was drafted in the 8th round by the Pittsburgh Pirates while in college. He now turns to golf where he competes in tournaments and maintains a low single digit handicap at James River Country Club.
Bob enjoyed a successful 30-plus-year community banking career on the Peninsula, which included terms as president of two different local banks. He has always enjoyed investing, financial planning and brings a strong commercial and private lending expertise to his role on the advisory board of Lions Bridge Financial Advisors.
Bob’s wife, Susan, teaches in York County and he has two college aged children, Peyton and Bryce.
