Jayne’s financial services practice involves creating, implementing and monitoring comprehensive financial plans and investment strategies for individuals and small to medium-sized businesses. These plans include investment and income strategies, retirement planning, college funding plans, estate planning strategies, life and long-term care insurance, retirement plans for businesses, and business transition consulting and planning.
Jayne is a Chairman’s Club-level advisor -- ranked among the top 6 percent of the more than 14,000 advisors at LPL Financial, based on production -- and has earned the designations of Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and Certified Estate Planner (CEP®).
Through LPL Financial, Jayne holds several securities registrations, including Securities Principal Series 24, Series 53 Municipal Principal, Series 7 general securities, Series 31 managed futures, Series 65 and 63 combined life, long-term care and health insurance licenses. She has worked in financial services for nearly 20 years.
She is a columnist and presenter to organizations on financial topics and has been a speaker at LPL Financial national conferences. Jayne has appeared on NBC affiliate WAVY-TV10 several times as a financial source and has been profiled in numerous Virginia-based publications, including The Daily Press, HR Magazine, The Oyster Pointer, My Time Magazine, and The Virginia Gazette. Jayne has been a quoted source on investing on Fox Business News, BankRate.com, and other news and financial sites.
She is active in her community and is currently on the following boards:
- Committee of Investments for the City of Newport News Employees’ Retirement Funds
- Board for the Virginia Peninsula Food Bank
- Board member for the Newport News Education Foundation
- Advisory board for Christopher Newport University’s Luter Business School
She is a CIVIC Leadership Institute graduate and formerly served on the boards of the Newport News chapter of the YMCA, the Port Warwick Arts Foundation and the Junior League of Hampton Roads.
Jayne is passionate about supporting at-risk children and young adults. She volunteered for six years for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), serving abused and neglected children in the Newport News court system.
And her firm, Lions Bridge Financial Advisors, pays tuition and room and board for three young ladies in in Nairobi, Kenya, who otherwise would not be able to attend school. Her goal is to get all three girls through high school graduation.
She is a recipient of the Inside Business Women in Business Achievement awards* for professional achievement and community service, TOP 40 Under 40 award and was recognized by the Junior League of Hampton Roads for outstanding community service to children.
She is a graduate of North Carolina State University and lives in Newport News, Va., with her husband, Mark -- a New York Times best-selling author --and their daughters, Olivia and Sophia.
