Kwarteng Asare, Social Media and Special Projects Intern

Kwarteng Asare is the Social Media & Special Projects Intern at Lions Bridge Financial. Born in Guelph, Ontario and raised in Fairfax County, Virginia, Kwarteng is now a senior at Christopher Newport University pursuing a bachelor's of science degree in computer engineering with a minor in computer science. He’s a member of the Hampton Roads section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the world’s largest professional association for the advancement of technology. He’s also a member of the IEEE/ACM [Association of Computer Machinery] club at CNU.
Kwarteng enjoys sports, particularly basketball and track and field. He’s a member of the track and field team at CNU, where he competes in jumping and sprinting events. He holds the school record for the long jump at his high school, James W. Robinson Jr. Secondary School, and was a champion in the long and triple jump events at district track meets during his senior year. At CNU, he holds the record in the triple jump at the VMI/Washington and Lee Track and Field Carnival meet and is a two time Mason Dixon Conference champion in the triple jump.
